Smart Feeders
Connected feeders designed for portion control, scheduling, and remote meal management.
How feeder control fits together
Automatic feeders dispense food on a schedule. Connected models may also use an app and Wi-Fi for setup, remote changes, status, or camera features, but those connected functions are not the same thing as guaranteed meal delivery. Verify each model's behavior when the network or power is unavailable.
Timer and app control
A basic timer can manage a local routine. App control adds remote access only where the product and current service support it.
Selective-access bowl
Compare implanted-microchip readers and collar-tag systems when the central job is deciding which pet can reach food.
Wet-food tray
Compare active refrigeration and passive ice-pack trays when prepared wet-food portions need scheduled access.
Check kibble compatibility
Match dry-food size, shape, texture, and dispensing behavior to the limits documented for the exact feeder model.
Choose a dry hopper when the job is dispensing compatible kibble, a wet tray for prepared wet meals, or a selective-access bowl when controlling which pet can eat matters most. Power, backup, cleaning, and scheduling still vary by model.
